A creative technologist is someone who understands both creative ideas and technical tools. The role may involve website design, coding, digital media, artificial intelligence, accessibility, audio, video, interactive resources, learning tools and online storytelling.
With the rapid growth of AI, this role is becoming even more important. AI can help generate content, design layouts, improve accessibility, write code, create images, produce audio and support communication. However, human judgement, lived experience and purpose still guide the work.
