Submit a Story

Creative Tech NZ wants to share real stories about how technology is improving the lives of disabled people, disabled children, families, whānau, teachers, therapists and communities.

Share Your Experience

Technology can make a meaningful difference in everyday life. It may be a communication app, an adaptive controller, a sensory tool, a mobility device, AI software, digital storytelling, accessible music technology or a simple creative solution that helped someone participate more fully.

We are interested in real stories that show how creative technology, assistive technology or accessible design has helped remove barriers, build confidence, support learning, improve communication or create new opportunities.

Who Can Submit a Story?

  • Disabled people
  • Parents, caregivers and whānau
  • Teachers and learning support staff
  • Therapists and support workers
  • Schools, organisations and community groups
  • Technology creators and accessibility innovators

What Kind of Stories Are We Looking For?

Your story does not need to be complicated. A small change can still be powerful. We welcome stories about technology that helped a child communicate, join in, learn, play, create, move, regulate, connect with others or feel more included.

We are especially interested in stories that focus on disabled children, inclusive education, accessible play, sensory technology, AI, creative tools and practical solutions that other people may be able to learn from.

Real Stories Help Others

When people share what works, others can learn, feel encouraged and discover new possibilities. Your story may help another family, teacher or disabled person find technology that makes life more accessible, creative and inclusive.
